Sarah Mason – Founder and Operations Director

Sarah founded Helping our Homeless Wales in 2018. Always passionate about making a difference, in 2016 she started working with a friend, gathering donations to support a homeless hostel and running a shoebox appeal to try to bring some Christmas cheer to people living on the streets. The recruited more friends, achieved many more fundraising goals, and gradually brought all their activities together, creating the charity., which has been helping people across Mid and South Wales ever since.

Sarah lives in Llandrindod Wells and works part-time as invoicing clerk for a music and production company, alongside many hours of volunteering. When she gets some spare time she loves painting and decorating bespoke ducks as well as trying out new craft ideas. She is endlessly motivated to help people of all ages, in all walks of life, whether experiencing period poverty, hunger, homelessness or trying to set up a home.
