You can change
their life for the better.

No act of kindness is ever wasted here.

The charity helps people who are living in financial hardship, homeless, at risk of homelessness or recovering from homelessness in Wales to access services to allow them to progress and move forward.

At the charity’s community hub in Builth Wells we offer warm space, hot meals and a food pantry. Our volunteers street walk in Cardiff to provide food, clothes and essential items, helping people on the streets to stay safe, warm and well.

We work alongside other charities and organisations to provide essential items, support, advice and signposting services.

Providing help to those in financial hardship

The number of people living in financial hardship is constantly increasing, especially since the pandemic and during the cost of living crisis. Some need support to feed families, some have lost employment due to Covid-19, and many have fallen through the gaps in Government support. We provide hampers of food and essentials, run a regular food pantry, provide a warm space and hot meals, and aim to make people feel that they are not alone.

Street walking to feed and help our homeless

We visit Cardiff once a week, every week of the year, taking hot meals and drinks to people who are living on the streets. Our meals are often the only hot food people have eaten in days. We build relationships with the street homeless so that we can look out for them and make sure they continue to have some warmth, food and shelter. We also give out sleep pods, which have been very successful at keeping people warm in the winter.

Fundraising so we can help more people

We are constantly fundraising to keep our activities going. From regular raffles to collecting at events to soliciting donations of supermarket food and vouchers, we take every opportunity to help you to help us! If you’d like to get involved, whether by taking part in a raffle, donating money, or volunteering your time to help out, we’d be delighted to hear from you…

“Just wanted to say thank you. No one has done anything like this for me before.”
